TCM FOOD THERAPY

'Let thy food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food'

- Hippocrates (400 BC)

Traditional Chinese Medicine Therapy is a key component towards wellness and healing. The goal is to achieve the balance of Yin and Yang through the combination of nutrition and medicine.

The taste, color, smell, nature, season harvested, preparation method and seasoning of the food is all considered. Constitution of each individual is unique thus the diet should be tailored for optimal wellness.

SEASONAL EATING ACCORDING TO ELEMENTS

Each season represents the ebb and flow of yin and yang according to the rhythm of the earth and heavens

As we strive to live in harmony with the environment, decisions such as what we eat, how we live and rest should adjust accordingly as well
